Also known as Indian Buckwheat, this Tartary Buckwheat is the highest altitude grown buckwheat in the world. When brewed with boiling hot water it makes a delicious tea with a nutty roasted flavor. It can be steeped several times. The brewed buckwheat kernels can then be eaten or added to your morning cereal or muesli.

Ingredients: buckwheat tea 

 Steeping Guide:

1 heaping tsp. 
6 oz. at 160° water 
Steep 3-4 minutes

Perfect!

This is a delicious and nutritious tea! I steep it and drink it, saving the boiled buckwheat as a cereal topper (or even on its own) to eat later. It was shipped quickly, packaged beautifully, and even came with a small gift. I will definitely purchase from The Teahouse again!
